What is e sms?
e sms is another mode of prepaid reload delivery method through Short Text Message (SMS) technology. Retailers are not required to install any special equipment neither required a fixed premises in order to operate their prepaid reload businesses. It is a robust Point of Sales (POS) system enabling retailers to operate their business while they are on the move. How e sms works?
Retailers are required to obtain a service short code from e-pay after completion of retailer registration.
To initiate a sales transaction, retailers are required to send a short message text containing their unique PIN and denomination required by consumers and consumers account number to the respective service provider short code as provided by e-pay.
A short message (sms) will be sent to the consumers containing the reload PIN, in the event of PIN-less top-up, the consumer account will be automatically credited with the denomination purchased.
